Reporting to the Whitestar Agro Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach Engage and interact with members and guests to create a positive experience- in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale Sales of crop inputs, nutrition products and farm equipment through the development of customer and supplier relationships Field scouting and the collection of soil samples Make chemical and agronomic recommendations, showcase equipment and complete follow-up calls Receive, distribute and load fertilizer and crop protection products Maintain environmental compliance Maintain inventory control, ordering and data reporting through in house programming Adhere to all merchandising standards, marketing efforts including pricing, policy and procedure, equipment maintenance, house-keeping and loss prevention policies. Who you are:

You hold an Ag Degree or Diploma and are eligible for membership in the SIA; you have CCA or Pag or equivalent or are willing to obtain You’re well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-orientated, and strive to be the best in what you do You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
