Reporting to the Pharmacy Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
• Managing inventory
• Maintaining patient records
• Prescription processing and verification
• Transferring prescriptions
• Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions
• Compounding as per NAPRA standards of practice
• Ensuring confidentiality and privacy of personal health information
• Educating patients according to scope of practice
• Preparing and submitting insurance claims
• General housekeeping duties
• All other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in a progressive, patient-centred Pharmacy and:
• You are a graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program from a recognized institution
• You have current licensure and good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals
• You have 1-3 years of prior experience
• You embrace innovation and technology and have excellent manual dexterity and keyboarding skills
• You are well organized, and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum level of supervision
• You are honest and trustworthy, results oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do
• You believe in building relationships, and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
• You have point of sale experience and can work in a fast-paced, guest facing environment
