Location: Remote

Please note this role will involve less than 15% travel (mainly inter-provincial)

Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Business Development, the Manager, Partner Relations is responsible for driving sustainable financial growth for CCDI through sales activities as well as managing a portfolio of CCDI's Employer Partner organization accounts. The Manager will often be the front-facing and primary point of contact for these prospective and current organizations. Focus for this role will be on inbound sales activities with flexibility to assist with other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales, Sponsorship, and Promotion
  • Support inbound sales and relationships with external partners and large donors
  • Manage inbound speaking engagement requests
  • Promote CCDI’s Employer Partnership and other CCDI services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Work with Manager, Business Development to generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, facilitate pitch logistics and deliver presentations
  • Prepare sales, speaker, and sponsorship contracts
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing Employer Partners, Sponsors, and clients
  • Compile, analyze, and report sales data
  • Customer Relationship and Account Management

  • Establish and manage the relationships of a portfolio of Employer Partner organizations with a focus on retention and client-service
  • Onboard new Employer Partners
  • Grow relationships with Employer Partners by helping them leverage their CCDI’s benefits and resources
  • Ensure contacts, notes, and company data of Employer Partner organizations are accurate and kept up-to-date in our CRM
  • Facilitate requests for Employer Partners including research and speaking requests
  • Act as the liaison between Employer Partners and CCDI to gather feedback on their Employer Partner experience
  • Renew Employer Partners accounts and facilitate overdue account reconciliation in collaboration with the Finance department
  • Drafting Employer Partner contracts and other contractual documents

    Required

  • 2 or more years of progressive customer or account management experience
  • 2 or more years proven working experience in sales, sponsorships, or relevant experience
  • Excellent customer / client service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Bilingual (French / English)
  • Preferred

  • Process development and implementation experience
  • Experience in the not-for-profit or membership association space
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma
  • CRM experience
  • Interest in the DEI space

    Ventes, commandite et promotion

  • Collaborer avec le·la gestionnaire du développement des entreprises afin de générer de nouvelles pistes, d’identifier et de contacter des décideur·euse·s, d’examiner les opportunités commerciales potentielles, de sélectionner les contrats conformément aux stratégies, de faciliter la logistique des argumentaires et de réaliser des présentations
  • Préparer les contrats de vente, de conférencier·ière et de commandite
  • Donner une rétroaction fiable et assurer un service après-vente
  • Construire des relations à long terme avec les employeurs affiliés, les commanditaires et les clients, qu’ils soient nouveaux ou existants.
  • Compiler, analyser et communiquer les données relatives aux ventes
