G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre is recruiting for up to 4 casual Skate Instructors who will be responsible for providing direct instruction, leadership and program management. This includes planning and preparing assigned programs; instructing assigned classes; evaluating participants; record keeping and public relations.
Requirements include completion of Grade 10; three months experience in skating instruction; a satisfactory police information check; and Emergency First-Aid and CPR C, as required. Successful candidates will be required to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends and nights (hours/shifts are subject to change).
As a component of the selection process, testing will be conducted. Although we thank all applicants, only those under consideration will be contacted.
