We ensure our people have the support they need to do their jobs!As the Professional Intern at the St Mary’s Service Centre you will be provided with extensive training to prepare for the Associate Adjuster role. You will be responsible for meeting with customers, adjusting claim files in accordance with the MPI Act and Regulations and Highway Traffic Act, maintaining a claims pending and providing customer service both in person and on the phone in both French and English.To be eligible for our one-year Professional Internship program you must:Be enrolled in at least a two-year program degree at a recognized university or college in Manitoba with a focus in Commerce, Business Administration or an undergraduate degree in a related area.Be a recent or current graduate (i.e. must have graduated at the end of 2019 or graduating in 2020).Special Skills:Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong professional and technical writing skills.Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Effective time management skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities. Proven problem solving skills, coupled with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint).French Language Skills (FLS) required, minimum requirement of Intermediate 2Hold a valid driver’s licence.Related work experience or office experience is an asset.
