Build on your career experience by:

    •Providing consultation and clinical expertise in skin and wound care and prevention •Role models direct patient care skills to staff and students •Performing identified complex wound modalities and follows up on complex cases •Developing teaching plans and evaluating the effectiveness of education programs •Delivering learner-centered education to individuals or groups of staff and patient/families •Collaborating with other practice leaders to provide leadership, consultation and performance support to clinical staff •Participating in research, policy, quality improvement, and risk management activities

Your background includes:

    •Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) •Three (3) years of recent related clinical experience in skin and wound care, including one (1) year of education and/or leadership experience •Completion of post graduate course work and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area (e.g. International Interdisciplinary Wound Care Course – IIWCC, Canadian Association Enterostomal Therapy – CAET, Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse – WOCN) •Valid BC Driver’s Licence and access to a personal vehicle for business related purposes

This is a casual role located at Eagle Ridge Hospital (ERH) in Port Moody, BC. ERH is a 154-bed hospital in Port Moody, BC, offering medical, surgical, regional rehabilitation, cardiac and diabetes outpatient programs, as well as 24/7 Emergency services with 51,237 visits annually. Port Moody is a vibrant waterfront community with a unique small-town feel in a metropolitan setting. Over 40% of the community is dedicated to parkland – a haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
