INTERMEDIATE TECHNICAL ANALYST LINUX/UNIX
As a key member of our Information Technology team, you are responsible for providing technical expertise by managing diverse Linux/Unix, Solaris, backup, virtual, and physical server and storage environments. You work in the areas of Linux/Unix server administration, virtual server hosting and administration, server clustering, backups and recovery. You provide first tier support, and work closely with third party vendors to solve system problems and assist in the area of server support.
You have experience building, maintaining, and providing support for Linux/Unix server environments, and experience supporting backup and recovery services in an enterprise environment. You also have experience providing support for mixed virtual and physical hosting environments. You have knowledge and experience with Oracle Solaris server environments, and a working knowledge with Dev-Ops environments, tools, processes and methodologies. In addition, you have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, and experience running database applications in SAN environments, coupled with experience in storage and SAN administration.
You have excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication and problem solving skills, with an ability to consistently achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. You have a proven ability to develop and implement solutions and to effect organizational change in an energetic, complex environment.
