This is a bilingual role, the Food Service Director will require good spoke and written French language skills.The Food Service Director will be responsible for the profitable management of these services under contract with the Client. Responsibilities include interaction with the client, customers and employees. The Food Service Director will provide vision to growing the business.Ensure all operating standards are achievedGrow Catering business through Marketing initiativesEstablish and maintain procedures for purchasing, receiving, storage, preparation and service of foodCoordinate and supervise personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality and cost control, labour, scheduling, staffing and trainingAssist front line managers with any operational and staffing issuesTrain, develop and mentor the management team and establish succession plansEnsure that standards for sanitation and food safety are metAssist in menu planningPrepare business plans, budgets and forecastsMonitor financial operating results in order to achieve company and client objectivesDevelop new initiatives and programs to improve sales and customer satisfactionEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting for all business sectorsMaintain records to comply with Aramark, and government standardsEnsure compliance with Marketing and Human Resources ProgramsEnsure adherence to Aramark’s policies and proceduresEnsure adherence to Aramark’s Health and Safety ProgramsUniversity Degree or College Diploma in Hospitality management or related fieldBilingualism in English and French is required (both written and spoken)Must be able to lead a team of 15-20 staff members5 years progressive management experience in a similar sized operationstrong leadership and organizational skillsStrong analytical, project planning, and financial management skillsAbility to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues and staffAccommodations for job applicants with disabilities are available upon request.ACL123
