Role ProfileReporting to the Regional Volunteer Services Manager, the Volunteer Coordinators will assist with our BeFriending Program, and volunteer data management. We are looking to hire for 2 positions. Responsibilities:The successful candidates will assist with our BeFriending Program, and volunteer data management: · This includes program preparation, set up, clean up and that equipment is readily available to participants. · This role will provide ongoing support to participants and the BeFriending Manager throughout programs. · The successful applicants will work closely with individuals living with disabilities and gain skills in client service. · They will work as part of a small team, and develop skills related to teamwork, problem solving, and communication. · This role includes data management of volunteer records and relations. Qualifications: · Enrolled in post-secondary education in related field · Ability to work in a team and/or independently · Exceptional communication skills and written skills · Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Salary: $18.95 per hour Please note the following: This position is subject to the approval and funding of our application to the Canada Summer Job program.
