In this role, you will be in charge of the National Bank Trust's mission, which primarily involves providing trust and philanthropic services to high-net-worth Bank clients across Canada.You will lead a hard-working team of professionals that helps our partners, including National Bank Financial Wealth Management (NBFWM), Private Banking 1859 (PB 1859) and the Personal Banking network, consolidate their relationships with clients, protect clients’ assets and increase asset volumes.
Your role:
Develop and implement a Canada-wide business development strategy so we can roll out our service offering in accordance with the strategic plan for Wealth Management.
Represent your sector and its field of expertise with various committees in order to identify business opportunities and initiatives.
Confirm that your sector’s service offering meets the industry’s strictest requirements and ensure sustained visibility.
Establish and maintain external partnerships in order to develop the sector’s service offering and meet the needs of various external partners.
Target business opportunities and implement promising, innovative service offerings for your sector, Wealth Management and the Bank as a whole.
Recruit, mobilize and retain top talent.
Manage a specialized team (lawyers, legal professionals, tax specialists) made up of senior management employees.
Your team:
Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer of National Bank Trust, you will serve as a strategic partner for trust and philanthropic services. You will be in charge of all aspects related to these Canada-wide offers for all National Bank distribution networks.National Bank Trust’s service offering is an essential complement to the Bank’s Wealth Management offering.
Prerequisites:
Master’s degree or graduate diploma in management, law, taxation or notarial law
At least 7 years of relevant experience in a related field (wealth management, trusts, estates, taxation, philanthropy)
Investment knowledge
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to influence others
Ability to travel regularly within Canada
