About this role
Our platform developer productivity team is responsible for making Faire’s product engineers happy and productive. We work on tools and processes to enable Faire’s engineers to deliver software at incredible speeds. We build and maintain Faire’s CI&CD infrastructure, monorepo support, code review and IDE plugins, and addressing the most common pain points for our product engineers.
What you’ll do
Build core features and improvements to our developer facing toolsSolve problems for Faire product engineers by understanding their needs and coming up with both short term workarounds and long term solutionsUse both qualitative and quantitative metrics to determine priorities and measure effectivenessImprove the reliability, and velocity of our build and release pipelines Qualifications
A passion for programming and solving problems with codeA familiarity with OOP languages such as Java or C#Experience with Kotlin, Gradle, Bazel, Jenkins, BuildKite, or similar technologiesA bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent industry experienceA love for technology, and an insatiable curiosity for new tools to tackle real problems Salary Range
Canada: the pay range for this role is $166,000-$228,500 per year.
This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
