The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software testing methodologies, test automation, and leadership skills to drive a culture of quality within the development team.Main ResponsibilitiesLeadership:Hands-on leadership and mentoring of a team of software testers and automation engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Provide guidance and direction to the testing team, ensuring alignment with project goals and quality standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the overall success of the software development lifecycle.Provides expertise and solutions for complex initiatives and can make independent decisions.Test Planning and Strategy:Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project requirements and timelines.Define and prioritize test cases based on risk analysis and business impact.Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure test plans meet business objectives.Test Execution:Oversee the execution of manual and automated test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.Coordinate with development teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.Monitor and report on test progress, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.Automation:Drive the implementation of test automation strategies to improve efficiency and test coverage.Evaluate, select, and implement test automation tools and frameworks.Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.Quality Assurance:Establish and enforce quality assurance best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with testing standards and processes.Ability to step into and perform any QA team role as neededLocationRemote with flexibility to meet with global partners during their working hours on occasion.Person SpecificationBachelor’s degree in computer sciences with courses in basic accounting or Accounting with experience in application development.
