The Senior Manager, North America Digital Marketing, Specialty Brands is primarily responsible for building and executing exceptional digital content plans with the goal of driving consumer engagement, loyalty, and education. Across the Specialty portfolio of brands (youtheory, Progressive, Iron Vegan, and Smart Solutions), the Senior Manager, North America Digital Marketing, Specialty Brands will develop a multi-social channel content and email marketing strategy that utilizes best practices to deliver compelling brand stories that lead to increased engagement. In addition, the role will ensure a data based approach to monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing content performance, ensuring that business goals are met.While the Senior Manager, North America Digital Marketing, Specialty Brands will oversee digital marketing for all speciality brands, the intent is for this senior marketer to prioritize their focus on youtheory – our fast growing, California based, wellness brand.This role will be a member of our Global Marketing Department, report to the Director of Global Digital Marketing and Media, and directly oversee the performance and development of two Associate Digital Marketing Managers and manage 3rd party agencies and content creators.In addition to the above reporting arrangement, effectiveness in this role will require the incumbent to work across commercial leadership in our Canada BU, USA BU, and eCommerce Team, demanding high collaboration skills and agility.Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties
Develops and executes multi-channel content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets and brand communication goals
Leads content team through all social media, email marketing and blog content plans, including overseeing content planning and execution, influencer strategies and plans, calendar management, creative planning, eCommerce content support, consumer engagement and live events, lead generation plans, loyalty programs, plan optimizations and deployment (deep understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Klayvio required)
Leads team through timely asset and content development and creation, working with Associate Managers, Jamieson Studio, Creative Agencies and External Content Partners (oversees creative briefs and collaborates with internal creative studio and external agencies to create content that aligns with brand tone, positioning, digital content strategy and best practices)
Oversees and guides all digital content calendars, across all JWEL Specialty brands, ensuring calendars align with overall content strategy and that it is up-to-date with the latest campaigns, events, ecommerce activity and product launches
Ensures that content tells a story about our brand/product, is accurate/compliant with applicable regulations, and optimizes effectiveness real time to maximize ROI and consumer breakthrough
Ensure team is pulling regular digital reports, using insights and analytics to track growth, measure performance and inform plan optimizations (Systems include: Sprout, Meta tools, Klaviyo, Twitter, TikTok and Google Analytics – G4)
Manages content budget across Specialty brands
Manages external partnerships (like influencers)
Oversees owned and paid deployments (platform deployment executed by Paid Media team)
Develops and manages N.A. social brand guidelines
Develops and manages N.A. best practices for social and email contentKey Performance Metrics
Owned digital and social media targets (Reach & Engagement Rate)
Owned website targets (Blog traffic, time spent on blog pages)
Email targets (open-rate, click-through-rate, conversion rate, opt-ins)

Positive Marketing Department engagement scoresKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements
Bachelor's degree Marketing, Business, Communications or Advertising
Bilingual (English and French) considered an asset
Seven (7) plus years’ experience in digital strategy and content marketing
Experience in health and wellness or CGP industry (or client management experience)
Nutrition knowledge an asset
Agency experience an asset
Detail-oriented fact-checker and copyeditor
Strong communication, creative development, and collaboration skills
Knowledge and experience with social media best practices and platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Sprout Social, and Klaviyo
Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Web and Email Marketing best practices
Experience with CMS
Knowledge of CASL and other privacy laws
A strong sense of urgency and achievement
Able to work levels of high stress and pressure
Able to project manage initiatives via a cross-functional team
Attendance and conducting of presentations, extended periods of sitting and operation of desktop computer or laptop
