This role will be responsible for launching new ad products, partnerships and integrations that allow world’s largest brands to connect with Walmart customers at scale.What you'll do...1. Defining vision and strategies for your product family, using domain expertise and knowledge of business operations to identify market opportunities, build business cases, and objective alignment.For your product area, lead business alignment and communication including product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks.
2.Conducting industry and competitive analysisto understand the emerging trends in advertising industry to identify new opportunities. Conduct customer research to define customer segments and identify needs to inform product roadmap and drive advertising innovation.
3. Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to Business leadership and the larger product management team by leading the entire product lifecycle from requirement definitions, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, KPIs and other launchefforts. Workingwith engineering and data science to define targeting and measurement methodologies, data requirements, APIs and UX.
4.Partnerwith internal advertising sales team and Walmart retail teams to create unique, compelling experiences that benefit shoppers and our advertising clients.
5.Work with engineering and data science to define targeting and measurement methodologies, data requirements, APIs and UX. Manage relationships with strategic Ad platforms and serve as an internal expert.
6.Building collaborative relationshipswith key partners across Walmart (Data Foundations, Finance, Engineering, Sales, Marketing) by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership.
7.Be an effective people manager – lead and manage a team and help build the overall Product Development practice.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or 8+ experience inproduct/service/project/programmanagement
1-3 yearssupervisory/managementexperience
3+ years in Advertising or marketing required
Product, operations, business or engineering background is preferred
Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize
Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically
Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, proven ability to influence others internally and externally
