HOW A SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs.
Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time.
Maintains documentation to support softwaredevelopmentpolicies, standards, and procedures.
Assist team with preparation of cost estimates.
Performs highly specialized technical tasks associated with cutting-edge technologies.
Applies expert functional knowledge and experience to significant business projects or processes.
Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs.
Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise.
Participates in special projects as required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline(preferred but not required)
Required Experience:
10+ years of experience with applicationdevelopment
Required Skills & Abilities:
10 years of experience as full stack java programmer, utilizing Apache Maven on Unix servers with Apache Tomcat or similar.
Java, JSP, J2ee, SQL, Eclipse, Subversion or GitHub
Knowledge and experience with Agile Methodologies
Knowledge and experience of SDLC practices
Demonstrated knowledge in Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc.)
Demonstrated knowledge in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Demonstrated experience with Oracle databases.
Security Clearance Level:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.
Preferred Skills:
Desired experience with Struts, CSS, HTML, Unix, Jenkins/EBS
