Position Overview:
We're looking for aPursuit and Communications Coordinator or Specialistwith a keen eye for refining internal processes pertaining to proposal development. You will be responsible for enhancing efficiency, consistency, and quality in proposal writing and submission processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and project management skills to streamline internal workflows and ensure successful proposal outcomes.This is a full-time, permanent position located in Toronto, offering the opportunity for hybrid work after six months of employment.The Role:
Develop and maintain our portfolio of pitch and proposal assets to streamline the team’s business development, recontacting and cross-selling efforts
Coordinate the creation and timely submission of competitive proposals i.e. request for proposals, which includes workplan development, scheduling and coordinating discussions, creating a first draft with standardized sections, suggesting selling points and competitive differentiators, mobilizing our subject matter experts and copyediting
Support the team to develop clear, succinct and compelling pitches and proposals that effectively communicate the firm’s strengths, differentiators and value propositions
Proofread and edit written client deliverables e.g. corporate sustainability reports, to ensure they adhere to our quality, brand and writing guidelines
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to craft external communication, including thought leadership articles, presentations and social media posts
Manage and implement the content calendar by crafting engaging and relevant content to effectively showcase the firm’s value propositionQualifications:
Post secondary education in marketing, communications, journalism, business or a related field
At least two years of experience in sales enablement, business communications, marketing or proposal writing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex
ideas clearly and succinctly
Outstanding organizational skills, showcasing the ability to independently set priorities,
meet timelines and effectively contribute in a collaborative environment
Adept at working across the team to ensure valuable input is obtained from relevant
parties
Exceptional mastery of Microsoft 365 applications with the ability to maintain our custom
company templates e.g. PowerPoint, Word
Working experience with Adobe Creative Cloud e.g. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop,
with a keen eye for design is an asset
Fluently bilingual in English and French is a strong asset
