Job Description
BMO is currently sourcing for a Purchase Order Analyst position on a 6- month contract.
Facilitate the requisition/purchase order functions for various technology requests as part of the Procurement life cycle. Work with business partners and suppliers to ensure complete and timely action is taken. Support process controls and adhere to internal guidance and standards.
Here are some of the key requirements and responsibilities included in this role:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
• Process day to day HW/business application requisitions within the Technology Performance Management group
• Work with business partners and team lead to manage and prioritize que
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all requests
• Build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensure alignment between stakeholders
• Ensure financial results are well understood and how they impact business results
• Develop knowledge related to business/group strategy, plans and financial activities
• Coordinate and execute specific activities for the implementation of strategic initiatives; includes tracking metrics and milestones
• Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus
• Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules
• Work independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations
• Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed
