If you have been found qualified in the Psychologist selection process -PEN-EA-NAT- with the Correctional Service of Canada, you are not required to apply for this inventory as both processes will be used to staff the same positions. If you are applying and have participated in this process, your assessment results may be applied as part of this selection process.
Any application submitted will stay active in the inventory (assuming it meets the essential screening criteria) for days. At the end of that period, you will need to refresh your application to ensure it stays active in the inventory. 15 days prior to the end of the day period, you will receive a notice to your PSRS profile instructing you that your application will expire unless it is refreshed.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a masters degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in clinical, forensic or counseling psychology.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Registered/Licensed as a Psychologist for autonomous practice by a provincial registering/licensing body.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in the provision of psychological services (including mental health services), such as assessment, counseling or other psychological services with adults, either to groups or individuals.
If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)
EDUCATION
Doctorate from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in clinical, forensic or counseling psychology.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Registration for autonomous practice of psychology by the provincial registering/ licensing body in the province of practice.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in the provision of psychological services in forensic/correctional settings.
Experience in providing psychological services to diverse population.
Experience in providing culturally sensitive interventions
Experience diagnosing mental disorders.

Knowledge of the Correctional Service of Canada, the Criminal Justice System and its legislative basis, and the relevant provincial legislation governing mental health and the practice of psychology.
