Project Coordinator / Community Coordinator Organization A registered Canadian charity will be expanding its reach across 5 provinces / territories. Responsibilities: Supports education program expansion for the assigned area, working closely with key stakeholders within the community. Works with, and provides support to, an established network of partners (i.
e. community members, post-secondary institutions, business associations, etc.) to engage mentors and develop special events.
Works with the Program Leader to expand the network. Plans, coordinates and supports community events, working with the Program Leader, to ensure that there is a strong uptake of participants, mentors and volunteers. Prepares for and participates in on-line events (and in-person events, dependent on Covid) and conducts follow up.
Liaises with community stakeholders. Identifies communications needs. Coordinates / supports all program activity, such as communications activities (e.
g., story capture, social media activity, videography / photo opportunities, etc.), network contact tracking, program evaluation activity, meetings / conferences, and progress reporting.

[email protected] Requirements Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Management, Education, or Marketing, with 3 years experience providing in project coordination / project management as well as client support; experience with community-based initiatives and diverse populations is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Demonstrated record of success with client support; exceptional customer service skills. A highly professional approach, and strong interpersonal skills. Strong facilitation skills, and experienced with leading / facilitating online workshops.
Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential to this role. Ability to analyze and effectively resolve problems. Self-sufficient and self-motivated.
Possesses a collaborative, team-focused working style. Skilled with standard computer-based applications. Experience with CRM is preferred, but not essential.
Work arrangements: Primarily remote, with in-person meetings on an as-needed basis (and COVID-dependent). Priority will be to assign Community Coordinators to their respective Province / Territory. This is a term position starting Feb 2022 through to March 2023.
