Responsabilités:
• Effectuer Nethris Paie pour les employés horaires (non syndiquées) et salariées
• Maintenir des dossiers de paie complets et exacts et maintenez la confidentialité des renseignements sur la tenue du temps et la paie et obtenez les approbations nécessaires
• Traiter avec précision et efficacité la paie, ce qui exigera la compréhension, l’interprétation et l’application des lois fiscales et des règlements gouvernementaux aux retenues sur la masse salariale et aux prestations, à la rémunération incitative et au financement de la retraite.
• Examiner les transactions salariales pour plus d’exhaustivité et de raisonnabilité.
• Vérifier l’information sur la paie pour le chômage, l’indemnisation des accidents du travail et d’autres rapports internes/externes au besoin.
• Préparer des paiements spéciaux, des calculs complexes de la rémunération et des retenues salariales ;
• Appuyer et aider aux procédures de paie et aux vérifications internes, en veillant à ce que les processus de paie soient conformes aux contrôles ;
• Réconcilier les envois de fonds du gouvernement, produire des T4 et des relevés, produire des résumés annuels, calcule la CNESST
• Préparer les relevés d’emploi
• Répondre aux demandes d’information et aider à la mise en œuvre d’initiatives clés qui ont
une incidence sur la paie, y compris l’acquisition de nouveaux actifs/employés ;
• Se tenir au courant des nouvelles lois et règlements concernant les questions liées à la paie ;
• Une bonne connaissance des lois du travail, des lois et règlements provinciaux et fédéraux) ;
• Contact clé pour les superviseurs et les questions des employés
• Processus et audit proches de G/L et interface comptable sur une base hebdomadaire
• Respecter des délais stricts selon les standards relatives à la taxe sur la masse salariale et aux transmissions directes de dépôts, au traitement de fin de mois et de fin d’année
• Préparer des rapports ad hoc pour la gestion
• Aider à identifier les problèmes récurrents, les tendances problématiques et à recommander des changements dans les procédures de base.
• Répondre aux questions des employés et des gestionnaires concernant la paie, le régime d’assurance collective et le régime de retraite ;
• Préparer les envois de fonds hebdomadaires de saisie-arrêt
• Toutes les autres tâches connexes
• Soutenir les autres membres de l’équipe en fonction des besoins opérationnels
EDUCATION/EXPÉRIENCE
• Baccalauréat en administration des affaires ou expérience de travail équivalente ; la certification de paie est préférée ;
• Accréditation par l’Association canadienne de la paie, un atout ;
• Minimum de quatre (4) ans d’expérience en paie couvrant tous les aspects du traitement de
la paie, avec au moins trois (3) ans dans une entreprise comparablement complexe requise

Payroll Specialist in Montreal, QC
Temporary position, part time 2 days per week every 2 weeks
Salary: 70K-75K
Responsibilities
– Perform Nethris Payroll for hourly (non-union) and salaried employees
– Maintain complete and accurate payroll records and maintain confidentiality of timekeeping and payroll information and obtain necessary approvals
– Accurately and efficiently process payroll, which will require understanding, interpreting and applying tax laws and government regulations to payroll deductions and benefits, incentive pay and retirement funding.
– Review payroll transactions for completeness and reasonableness.
– Verify payroll information for unemployment, workers’ compensation and other internal/external reports as needed.
– Prepare special payments, complex pay calculations and payroll deductions ;
– Support and assist with payroll procedures and internal audits, ensuring payroll processes are in compliance with controls ;
– Reconcile government remittances, produce T4’s and statements, produce annual summaries, calculate NSSA
– Prepare Records of Employment
– Respond to inquiries and assist in the implementation of key initiatives that impact payroll, including
impact payroll, including acquisition of new assets/employees;
– Keep abreast of new laws and regulations regarding payroll related issues;
– Familiarity with labor laws, state and federal laws and regulations);
– Key contact for supervisors and employee questions
– Close G/L process and audit and accounting interface on a weekly basis
– Meet strict deadlines according to payroll tax standards and direct deposit transmissions, month-end and year-end processing
– Prepare ad hoc reports for management
– Assist in identifying recurring issues, problematic trends and recommend changes in basic procedures.
– Answer questions from employees and managers regarding payroll, group insurance and
insurance and pension plans;
– Prepare weekly garnishment remittances.
– Any other related duties
– Support other team members as required by operational needs
Experience and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience; payroll certification preferred ;
– Canadian Payroll Association certification is an asset;
– Minimum of four (4) years of payroll experience covering all aspects of payroll processing, with
