Role Responsibilities
If you enjoy working outside and are committed to caring for Alberta Park’s facilities and campgrounds, come join our Maintenance Team in the Peace River District. We are looking for highly motivated, well-organized, responsible Maintenance Service Workers for the 2024 summer operating season.
Individuals will be part of a team accountable for providing regular maintenance and operational duties that support the day use areas, campgrounds, facilities and trail systems.
We are currently looking to hire Park Maintenance Workers to work in Peace River District. We are hiring:
As a Maintenance Service Worker (MSW1), duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
As the Park Maintenance Worker 2 (MSW2), primary duties include assisting with and performing MSW1 duties in addition to some front-line administrative and supervisory tasks such as:
All positions will require you to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. You have the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and will be paid for number of hours worked. You must have good physical stamina to be able to perform manual duties outdoors and in any type of weather conditions, rain or shine.
