We are hiring Intermediate Business Analyst to work with one of our clients based in Montreal. MISSION: This role is a key and dynamic position within the technology team, which oversees in-house compliance applications. You have the opportunity to be part of a cross-functional team with a presence in multiple locations (AMER & Asia), providing support to compliance business partners in the AMER region. Presently, the team is actively engaged in the migration of legacy compliance applications to the public cloud, aiming to enhance solutions and services while achieving cost reductions Responsibilities: Main Responsibilities Conduct data analysis, collaborate with both business and IT teams to initiate and propel project requirements, manage backlog prioritization, and oversee delivery. Execute UAT (User Acceptance Testing), possess a comprehension of databases, perform fundamental queries, troubleshoot issues, and proactively solve problems. Undertake responsibilities as a product owner, challenge requirements, engage in negotiations with stakeholders, and achieve consensus. Demonstrate an understanding of the compliance and regulatory requirements of the bank, actively contributing to design and architecture meetings for compliance applications. Assume responsibility for vital projects and lead Operating and Steering committee meetings. Work closely with global teams (AMER & Asia) to prioritize and propel project initiatives. Engage in collaboration with the production support team to address Level 3 production issues. Lead project sprints, guide scrum meetings, and supervise release meetings involving various stakeholders. Profile: Technical Skills Must-Have : 3-5 years of experience in similar role Demonstrate a strong understanding of the technology underpinning banking applications. Exhibit proficiency in infrastructure, web applications, Unix and Windows OS, and knowledge of public cloud web applications. Showcase effective problem-solving skills and an ability to discuss solutions with non-technical stakeholders. Bring project management skills and hands-on experience to the table. Hold experience as a Scrum Master/Product Owner and proficiency in JIRA task management. Previous work involvement with JAVA-based banking applications and cloud technologies. Familiarity with SQL and Big Data databases. Demonstrate experience in dealing with large volumes of data and performing data analysis. Display excellent communication skills, including the ability to manage stakeholder relationships and partnerships Nice to have : Project experience on Microsoft Azure Education Must-Have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field Languages: English French
