Reads, interprets, and executes drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications for layout of commercial and Industrial electrical equipment installations Tests electrical equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance Installs, repairs, or replaces AC/DC motors and drives, transformers, motors, starters, relays, and hydraulic and gas electrical controls Installs, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiberoptic, and line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts Installs, repairs, or replaces generators and industrial storage batteries Do preventative maintenance and testing of electrical systems (including power distribution equipment) Installs electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment required Corrects connections and wiring on equipment controls May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial equipment and connected devices Setup and Programming of PLC’s, VFD’s, HMI’s and other Automation Equipment
Here is what we need from you:
Must be Journeyman electrician Must have valid class 5 drivers license Must be willing to work overtime when needed Automation experience (Preferred) Electrical Training System Certification (Preferred) Prior experience working in a plant environment (Preferred) PLC & HMI Programming experience (Preferred) SCADA Experience would be an Asset (Preferred) Working with AUTOCAD (Preferred) Basic computer skills Working with Industrial Networks. (Ethernet, ControlNET, DeviceNET, Etc.) (Preferred) What you can expect:
Typical workweek will include Monday through Friday with some Saturday work On-call rotation, changes over each week Some out of town work will be required Work hours may vary, and overtime may be required at times You will work in a plant environment with frequent working conditions both indoor and outdoor ***
