Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Maintain excellent customer service Use safe work practices to ensure safety of all staff and customers Complete service reports Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements to plan layouts or welding process specifications Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc
welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded
metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW) Utilize manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brazing and soldering equipment Work with metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, power hammers and other metal machines Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers Fabricate, manufacture and repair metal structures, tools, and equipment as needed Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors Take accurate measurements and testing welded surfaces where required Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature Maintenance and repair of welding, brazing and soldering equipment Skills and Qualifications:
Recognize the importance of providing quality workmanship Journeyman/woman Certification (must have experience) Experience with trailers and/or agricultural implements an asset Ability to perform mechanical repairs and new assembly when not welding Experience with Mig and Stik Ability to safely lift, push, pull or carry heavy products up to 55lbs Capable of prioritizing activities, adaptable and focused A positive “can do” attitude and work well with others Good communication skills and willingness to help out other team members Clean drivers abstract and clean criminal record Have a great work ethic If you are a positive “go-getter” who feels that you’d be a great addition to our team, and you share in our belief of “People working together, Doing what is right, Making a difference”, be sure to apply today !!!
