We are looking for an Intelligence Solutions Agronomist. The successful candidate can work from any of our client’s locations locations in West SK or East SK/MB, and will be responsible managing small grains agronomic recommendations & solutions for customers and personnel.
Responsibilities
Assist team with customer trials & agronomic demonstrations.
Support automation requirements and leverage systems to review and interpret data.
Support water management, review drainage products and assist customers with data interpretation.
Conduct soil, tissue, and water analysis to provide recommendations for customers.
Assist in training & development of staff and customers.
Requirements
Advanced knowledge of crop protection products and seed varieties.
The ability to work flexible hours, including travel.
A valid Class 5 Drivers License.
Knowledge of farm and agriculture systems in the region.
Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) – Option to obtain designation when employed.
Professional Agronomy Designation. (PAg – SIA/AIA/MIA).
5 years’ experience in an agronomic-focused role.
Agriculture, Business, or Science Degree - Emphasis on Plant/Soil science experience.
Operations Center & Agronomic Application experience.
Have experience analyzing and interpreting data and reports.
The ability to use desktop and internet applications.
Excellent customer service skills.
