Compensation
Effective September 1, - $7,.48 per half course ( hours nominally)
Effective September 1, - $14,.95 per full course ( hours nominally)
Please note: Instructors who are employed in a 2-hour/week lecture, or the equivalent of a 2-hour/week lecture, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.
Duties
Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement. These include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty).
Qualifications
1. PhD in Child and Youth Studies, Psychology or related discipline. If there are no qualified applicants, we will consider senior doctoral candidates.
2. Teaching and research experience in development of self and identity as it pertains to children and youth
3.Familiarity with a diversity of theoretical or disciplinary perspectives will be and asset.
4. Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations).
