The Inclusive Schooling, Assessment and Program Coordinator is a key member of a dedicated educational leadership team responsible for providing consultative and collaborative support to schools in two communities: Yellowknife and Hay River. This position requires a positive, dynamic and experienced educator who will provide services and supports to schools that meet the diverse educational needs of all CSFTNO students.
The Inclusive Schooling, Assessment and Program Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of all services to students with special needs, coordinating board assessments as well as collecting and organizing data emanating from them, and leading and facilitating literacy and numeracy program activities for all CSFTNO students. Although the position resides at the board office in Yellowknife, the incumbent will travel twice monthly to Hay River.
To be successful in this role you will typically need:
• A Bachelor of Education Degree,
• Five years teaching experience which must include a minimum or three years' experience in implementing inclusive schooling, and
• Experience must include the setting up of modified and individualized education programs for students with special needs.

• Literacy /Reading Development/Reading Recovery
• Educational psychology
• Speech language pathology
• Other student support designation
• Student assessment, evaluation and reporting
