Position: HR Generalist – Manufacturing Sector
Location: Lachine – Hybrid
Salary: $80K to $90K based on experience

A very well-established manufacturer in Lachine is seeking an HR Generalist for their facility. They are offering a competitive salary, full benefits and the opportunity to occupy a diversified role in Human Resources touching on many aspects and a lot of variety!
In this role, you will be working with the VP Operations and will be the key Human Resources leader on site.
The following is an overview some of the tasks:
- Welcoming, onboarding and scheduling training of new employees
- Managing employee relations, correspondence and communications
- Taking care of HR administration of employee files
- Processing payroll working with an external payroll provider
- Supporting management in health and safety initiatives and awareness
- Processing CSST claims and file administration
- Participating in ongoing human resources projects
- Perform some recruitment activities although not a large part of the role
- Executing various other related tasks
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of human resources experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Education in Human Resources is an asset
- Organized, resourceful, knowledgeable of human resources best practices and guidelines
- Pleasant demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to support employee relations
