Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Data and BI to lead our analytics and business intelligence efforts across multiple brands and profit and loss (P&L) units within our online gaming company. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep expertise in data analysis and BI technologies, proven experience in initiating and leading data architecture-related projects, and a proven track record of driving data-driven decision-making to optimize business performance and drive growth.Main Responsibilities: * Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the data and BI function, aligning with overall business goals and objectives. Develop and execute a roadmap for advancing data analytics capabilities and driving a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.* Data Management and Governance: Oversee the management, quality, and governance of data assets, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to support effective data management practices.* Business Intelligence Development: Lead the development and implementation of BI solutions, tools, and dashboards to provide actionable insights and support decision-making across various functions, including marketing, product development, finance, and operations. Ensure BI solutions are user-friendly, scalable, and aligned with business needs.* Data Analysis and Insights: Drive data analysis initiatives to uncover actionable insights, trends, and opportunities within the online gaming business. Conduct deep-dive analysis of player behavior, gaming performance and marketing budgets management to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for growth and optimization.* Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics across multiple brands and P&L units. Prepare and deliver regular performance reports and presentations to senior leadership, providing insights into business performance and actionable recommendations for improvement.* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, including marketing, product development, finance, operations, and IT, to understand business requirements, prioritize analytics initiatives, and drive alignment on data-driven strategies and initiatives.* Team Management and Development: Establish and lead a high-performing data and BI team, including data analysts, BI developers, and data engineers. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.* Technology Evaluation and Integration: Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in data analytics and BI tools and platforms. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance data analytics capabilities and drive innovation within the organization.Requirements:* Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, business analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.* Proven experience (8+ years) in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles preferably within the online gaming industry.* Strong leadership and managerial skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.* Deep expertise in data analysis techniques, statistical methods, and BI technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).* Solid understanding of online gaming business models, metrics, and KPIs.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated track record of driving business results through data-driven decision-making.* Experience with data management and governance best practices, including data quality, security, and compliance.* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.* Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Certified Business Intelligence Professional) are desirable.
