We are adding a Managing Consultant to our growing Group Retirement Solutions team to continue to drive our rapid growth and provide exceptional support to our clients.You will support business growth and client retention through your knowledge of group retirement solutions and your ability to build strong client relationships. You should be committed to providing a positive memorable customer service and excited to be a part of growing and dynamic team.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain relationships and deliver pro-active consulting services to an assigned block of clients including responding to general and technical questions regarding plan design, legislative requirements and a good working knowledge of investments, governance and taxationMaintain high client retention rate through the development of strong relationships and providing excellent client service and solutionsAble to research answers and provide guidance to clients where neededParticipate in finalist meetings to support the new business acquisition processImplement and provide on-going servicing of GRS clientsExpand and maintain existing block of business and present solutions to clientsTake part in transitioning new business acquisitions to the ongoing management service modelAssist in preparing meeting materials for clients and following up with comprehensive meeting minutes and the execution of action itemsDevelop and maintain a strong governance model for retirement clientsPrioritize workflow with competing client deliverablesWork closely and in coordination with other team members to provide exceptional service and solutions for clientsStrategize, coordinate and/or develop & deliver member education materials and presentationsDevelop/approve employee communication for plan sponsors to communicate changes to their employeesResearch, write, deliver, and support the Financial Wellness solution for plan sponsors and plan membersLead & contribute to ad hoc projects to enhance client experienceProvide expertise and support within the team and with partner firms to meet overall objectivesAssist in educating and training team members towards building an overall stronger teamDevelop and maintain professional and technical knowledge and industry trends by attending education workshops and keep up to date with publications and the competitive landscapePreferred Experience & Skill SetMinimum 10 years’ experience in the retirement or pension industry with proven ability to build strong business relationships ideally in client facing and advisory positionYou are solutions oriented and proactively identify business solutions for complex needs and issuesExceptional business and financial acumenProfessionalism in internal and external communicationsExcellent interpersonal, oral, written and presentation skillsExcellent time management skillsOutstanding team player but able to work independently to find solutionsUndergraduate degree in business or a related fieldRPA, CEBS designation considered and assetLife licensed, or willingness to completeWillingness to travel as neededAccess to a car and a valid driver's licenseProficiency in French is an assetA willingness to have fun with the team, be adaptive to change, a desire for new challenges in a growth-oriented organization, and a passion for the client experience is mandatory!What's in it for you:Learn by working alongside our expertsExtended health care and dental benefitsA retirement savings plan with company contributionsA suite of Health & Wellness offeringsMental Health programs and support for you and your familyAssistance for the completion of industry designationsCompetitive compensationAt People Corporation we are committed to helping businesses succeed.
