** **_Where the Chemistry Happens…_** The Field Biologist provides leadership to manage all aspects of research farm and cross portfolio / cross crop research program (Herbicide, Fungicide, Insecticide, Seed Treatment). This includes but is not limited to trial planning and execution, annual budgeting, capital planning, crop rotations, farm cooperator relationships, farm staffing and quality of all data collection.

The Field Biologist will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of technical, regulatory, and marketing professionals to deliver innovative solutions for Canadian growers. Specific for Regina, the Field Biologist will focus on managing trials across all indications (Herbicides, Fungicides, Seed Treatments and Insecticides).

**_Formula for Success: You Will…_** + The **Field Biologist** , in addition to managing a research farm, is responsible for executing project planning including protocol planning, data summaries, and presentations for multiple audiences. + The **Field Biologist** provides management in the area of external research cooperators and regulatory submissions by project.

This will involve interaction with technical and regulatory teams (country). External interactions may include both public and private research scientists and agronomists.

+ This **Field Biologist** position will have focus in agronomy and will work within the Herbicide, Fungicide, Seed Treatment and Insecticide portfolio’s. **_Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…_** + MSc with emphasis on agronomy or equivalent experience in crop science, weed science, entomology, plant pathology or related discipline.

+ Previous field experience managing field research / product development projects. + Knowledge of practical agronomy and crop production in Canada including in-depth knowledge of weeds, plant diseases and insects; as well as an ability to identify pest organisms.

+ Ability to work with field equipment safely and efficiently. + Experience with Canadian regulatory environment is beneficial.

+ Ability to share knowledge and expertise with others. Actively participate on teams to solve problems or achieve team goals.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills together with strong project management abilities. + Excellent computer skills proficient in various software programs, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, ARM.
