Event Manager:

Our client is searching for an Event Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for providing memorable experiences to all guests through planning and executing seamless events. A successful candidate will be detail oriented, service driven and passionate about events.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

Co-ordinate all aspects of catering events, from initial inquiry to post event follow-up.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and preferences.
Liaise with culinary and front of house teams to ensure efficient execution
Liaise with in-house audio-visual teams
Manage event timelines, logistics, and on-site coordination to guarantee a flawless Client experience
Maintain accurate records of client communications, contracts, billing information
Working with accounting managers to ensure payments are up to date
Assist In working with wedding market vendors
Uphold high standards of service and presentation and professionalism

Your strengths include:

Proven luxury event center experience within the wedding, meeting and events industry
Must have good knowledge of the food and beverage industry, with banquet experience being an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of Social Tables floorplan program is an asset
Confident in understanding and explaining contractual information to clients
Results oriented, positive, and service driven with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.
Adapts to change with ease and can handle many tasks simultaneously
A passion for guest services and a desire to be a part of a driven team
Must be very flexible with work hours to correspond with department, guest, and business demands
A strong team player, able to work within deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A good problem solver, confident, energetic and flexible
