EIC Engineer Job in Delta Recruiting by Actalent

The Electrical/Controls Engineer will be part of a team that provides engineering and automation solutions to our industrial based clients in a professional manner that is client-driven and responsive. The Electrical/Controls Engineer will undertake EIC system design and programming for their clients. Client applications and technologies are continuously changing, so the work will be challenging and dynamic, often working within tight deadlines. The work will be determined according to client parameters, needs and expectations meeting current electrical codes and requirements. The work will be completed in office or in the field at the customer’s location as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position will perform a variation of the following duties, depending on operational needs, customer needs, project requirements:

Must Have:

Degree in Electrical Engineering

P.Eng or EIT Designation

3+ years of experience in a role involving industrial machine design, electrical/controls design

Design experience of power distribution systems: V - V - V is a plus

Working experience with Experience AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software, Microsoft Office, and Excel.

3+ years experience with PLC programming (Rockwell) is a big +

Familiarity with Canadian Code (3+ years)
