As we take on this exciting new challenge, we are seeking a Director of Sales to join our growing team based out of our Fraser Valley office.As we work with a hybrid policy, only residents of the Lower Mainland will be considered. You will be required to be on-site supporting our various clients and projects as needed, as well as working collaboratively from the Fraser Valley and Vancouver office.As this role will focus on projects out of the Fraser Valley location, you will need to be available for in person meetings and working with team out of the Fraser Valley office.Your core responsibilities will be, but not limited to:Key Accountabilities:Sales Team Management:Plan staffing for projects, balancing knowledge of skills and abilities to promote the project, clientCreate and update consultant contracts in real-time, coordinating with HR, Sales Operations, and AccountingAssist in onboarding new consultants for smooth integrationTrain team members on MLA's best practices, policies, and sales processesDevelop Sales Teams to excel in their roles, focused on performance and skillset developmentConduct quarterly development and empowerment sessions and mentor career growthEstablish communication rhythms with Sales TeamsManage staff schedules and coordinate support during vacations and time offSummarize product knowledge for sales tools and resources, keeping documentation relevant and consistent with change initiatives and processesHelp onboard new marketing teams that support programs and train on best practices and operational excellenceEstablish a synergy with the Director of Marketing /Marketing Manager on your respective programs, to ensure alignment of collective team as they relate to staffing, client relationships, project updates, or other items that may come upSchedule, manage and lead new development training sessionsOversee the Sales Team and performance on sales floor and use of CRM toolsProject ManagementNurture client relationship and/or sales program from initial internal kick-off meeting and co-manage new site integration meetings with your marketing teamSupport the development and build-out of sales assets, program planning, strategy and all aspects that fall within the lifecycle of your sales programsManage roll-out and success of the program, while maximizing the client relationshipAttend Brand and Positioning session with marketing teamResponsible for all aspects of the program, including: (1) Product Development; (2) Brand Positioning; (3) Sales Strategy; (4) Sales Execution; (5) Administration; and (6) Closing ProcessPrepare for and actively participate in all project retrospective analysisSales Strategy Development & BudgetsIn partnership with the Director of Marketing, develop innovative sales strategiesSales Strategies must be developed in four components: (1) Preliminary; (2) Launch; (3) Comprehensive; and (4) RefinedDevelop prospecting programs, realtor and grand opening events, and/or other milestones as needed with the project.Manage inventory and pricing throughout the entire sales program, which includes executing on predetermined pricing strategies for the clientAdhere to project and staffing budgets, reporting on progress and outcomesReview absorptions monthly to ensure on track and on budget with all programsSales Administration & BudgetsReview disclosure statement, purchase and sale contract, and all required contract-related items, in conjunction with the Director of Administration in advance of disclosure filingOversee all deals executed by the Sales TeamSchedule, manage, and regularly review use of CRM, dashboards and conduct database auditsLeverage MLS Listings as a Sales Tool, and proactively determine MLS listings and ongoing listings throughout the sales programEnsure there is regular and effective management of all parking, storage, and options allocations/reporting, in direct conjunction with the Director of AdministrationManage execution of Buyer Profile Surveys, aiming for 100% completionEnsure all teams are effectively using traffic reports, prospecting reports, new offer notification emailsEnsure all teams are completing competition reportsProvide feedback and insight to the program’s Marketing Materials and assess the effectiveness of all tools in propelling the program and building the client’s brandManage all project and company-related tasks through Asana in order to maintain constant project communication with stakeholdersResponsible for the upkeep of all SharePoint files relating to the project marketing teams and sales departmentClient & Realtor RelationsFoster the growth of key Realtor relationships by developing, nurturing, and maintaining agent relationships, existing and newFacilitate any key Realtor relationships with the teamSupport the Business Development team, when necessary, to assist with building new businessAttend networking and industry events to build connections within the industry and the propel MLA’s brandWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE5-8+ years of experience in sales and marketing managing programs within real estate mandatoryExperience managing full lifecycle of programs, from concept to executionExperience managing a team providing effective coaching and mentoring guidanceRelevant education (Certificate/Diploma/Degree) from a recognized instituteProficiency MS Office applications, Hubspot, Asana and Avesdo considered an assetAbility to produce results independently while maintaining a positive team environmentAn amazing attention to detail with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentTime-management skills working under pressure with multiple projects and timelinesOutstanding interpersonal communication skillsA high-level of professionalism, diplomacy and tactWHY IT’S SO GREAT TO WORK FOR MLAMLA offers individuals an unparalleled opportunity to work with a growing company with a clear vision to be Canada’s undisputed leader in real estate, and to be a part of setting a new standard of excellence for experience and innovation in the world of new home sales.Our core values are at the heart of our people and company objectives.
