Join us to help revolutionize the future of health care in the West GTAThe RoleOur successful candidate will report to the Associate Vice President, Philanthropy. The Director, Campaign will support THPF campaign and philanthropy programs by supporting strategy development and implementation of infrastructure, systems and operational support to achieve campaign targets and enable fundraisers.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPhilanthropy Operations:Provide overall operational support & infrastructure development for philanthropy, including collaborating cross-functionally to drive overall campaign success.
Review moves management philanthropy processes and make recommendations to advance, track and monitor donor development performance indicators.
Review processes, policies and existing templates and make recommendations for updates
In partnership with AVP, Philanthropy, develop KPI’s and implement processes and systems to support & monitor them
Serve as strategic point person for philanthropy team working in the Blackbaud RE database including philanthropy training, creating dashboards and recommending processes to support goals and objectives
Campaign ManagementTrack, report, monitor campaign strategy across various philanthropy programs
Prepare analysis of THPF donor data trends and reports, proactively offering insight that will impact development operations and relationship management practices.
Develop and maintain core operating procedures for the philanthropy and Donor Experience team
In partnership with the Donor Experience team, lead the strategic project management of key donor deliverables – gift announcements, case for support development & campaign milestone events, etc.
Oversee prospect management and pipeline development for campaign
Provide support with ad hoc development of presentation materials
Provide supportive leadership and guidance to one direct report (Manager, Prospect development & Research)
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 7 years of progress philanthropy experience, ideally within a health care system.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve campaign goals
Progressive fundraising program leadership experience and a proven track record of supporting teams with major gift development
Highly effective at working independently, taking initiative and making decisions, balancing multiple priorities and acting as a team player.
Well-developed business acumen along with analytical experience.
Previous direct experience with planning and executing significant campaigns and a proven track record of establishing major gift processes.
Strong project management skills, and ability to work in a time-sensitive, goal-oriented environment. Proven ability to build, manage and develop key relationships with partners, donors and others involved in making the campaign a success.
Technological fluency, including strong comprehension of Raiser’s Edge or RENXT, with experience using reporting applications and dashboards and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 4 year post-secondary degree is preferred, but a combination of education and experience will be considered.
Work EnvironmentWillingness to work flexible hours and to tight deadlines as needed —some after-hours work may be required.
May have some activity outside of the office to support with campaign events and meetings
The Foundation has a hybrid work model. Staff typically come in one day per week to connect with other team members as coordinated with your people leader
