Reports To: Vice-President, Operations ServicesPosition Summary:The Director, Ancillary Revenue & Business Development will report to the Vice-President, Operations Services and is responsible for the management and execution of revenue generating programs. The Director will strategically oversee current revenue contracts as well as identify and implement new regional and national financial growth opportunities. They will also be responsible for leading and supporting the team, and investigating software and technology opportunities to support and track ancillary contract terms and conditions. In addition, the Director will work closely with Operations and all other departmental units to enhance and promote ancillary revenue opportunities.Responsibilities:Lead and mentor the Ancillary & Business Development unit to be more sales focusedDevelop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfactionLead and analyze existing contracts to evaluate performance, service and revenue, particularly core contracts i.e. Telecom, Parking, Laundry and Sub-meteringConduct research to identify new revenue streams aligned with customer needsEstablish property site visits to monitor and enhance existing and new ancillary opportunitiesDirect and plan, to enhance and/or develop processes and procedures to maximize revenue potentialNegotiate renewals and pursue new ancillary business opportunitiesWork closely with all departments including the Risk Department to insure legal/risk requirements are met when setting up new or negotiating existing contractsLead in assisting in performing financial forecasting and preparation of budgets to meet the goals and objectives that contribute to the company's NOILead vendor meeting discussions including new opportunitiesSupport the Manager to act as liaison between vendors, department and stakeholders as needed to ensure quality of servicesEffectively communicate and roll out programs to all appropriate stakeholder within the companyInvestigate and implement software and technology opportunities to support contract database managementOn-going investigating strategic ancillary opportunities including common area design enhancements to increase revenue potentialLead in coordinating regular update meetings with executive team, operational staff, and internal partnersOther duties and strategic projects, as assignedQualifications:Demonstrated experience in managing suppliers and developing ongoing relationshipsProven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant roleUnderstanding of the Multi-residential sectorMarket knowledgeStrong analytical aptitudeStrong leadership skillsExcellent computer skillsEffective communication skills and excellent presentation skillsAbility to coach and mentor teams and provide productive feedbackExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and motivateStrong selling skills and focus on customer service#J-18808-Ljbffr
