Work environment
Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) has an interesting and unique mandate by playing a role in supporting services and programs in communities such as health, education, economic development, housing, community infrastructure and social support. Intent of the process
The immediate intent of this selection process is to staff four casual positions at the EG-05 level. A casual can be required to work up to 90 working days within a calendar year. The positions to be filled are located in the Atlantic region (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador).

EDUCATION:
Diploma or degree in dental hygiene from an accredited dental hygiene program in Canada.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Registration as a registered dental hygienist in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and/or Newfoundland.
If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)
ASSET EXPERIENCE:
Experience working effectively with First Nations, Inuit, or Metis

ABILITIES:
Ability to organize, implement and deliver a community-based oral health program.
Ability to develop and deliver an oral health education and promotion program.
Ability to communicate effectively orally.
Ability to maintain dental records/ documents.
Ability to use, maintain and service dental equipment

Conditions of employment
Reliability Status : security clearance
A valid, unrestricted, license/registration to practice dental hygiene in the province of employment.
Possession of a valid drivers license or personal mobility to a degree normally associated with the possession of a drivers license.
Willingness and ability to work overtime
Willingness and ability to travel including by air, sea, motor vehicles including low level flying and travelling to remote locations.
