POSITION TITLE: Dealer Development Analyst REPORTS TO: Manager, Dealer Development SCOPE OF POSITION:The Dealer Development Analyst is responsible to ensure that all Dealer Agreement related requirements are complete, legally compliant, and up to date. This Associate also ensures that the Facility image packages provided by the zones, adhere to program guidelines. This associate provides guidance and expertise to the Brand Managers, Zone Dealer Development Consultants, Field Staff and Zone Managers.PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESRequest for Change of Dealer Status (RCDS) Review and Processing:Completing DD Reviews, Credit checks, DNB reports, etc.Thorough review of documentation to ensure requirements are metLogging/processing/tracking of approval flowsCoordinate with Zones/ National/ Legal/ Credit & Sr. Management to ensure RCDS are completed correctly, all documentation requirements are met, approval and processing is timely and efficientUpdate RCDS documents as requiredWork with tight deadlines and ensure targets met (e.g. Closing dates)Track and Issue all major dealer mailings and ensure legal complianceCreate all Dealer Agreements as requested by Zone Dealer Development (All brands)Image Program Project Management:Review dealership designs relative to program standards, track projects for reporting, liaise with design vendorsLegal Documentation Tracking – as it pertains to facility project relocations, renovations, designs, permits, constructionRack signage inventory and ensure adequate inventory levelsCoordinate Plaques for Dealership Grand OpeningsReporting: Support requirements for monthly executive reporting and presentationsComplete monthly meetings with Zone Dealer Development/ Zone GM’s to obtain accurate updates for RCDS and facility projects Maintain key activity dates to ensure Dealer information is up to date and documentation requested as required (e.g. commitments)DD Planner Management:Monitor user activity as requiredPrompt follow up on delayed tasksGenerate reports for presentations as neededAdmin Support:Ensure timely billing of all Image program elements to DealershipsSharePoint:Data entry as required including various dealer information Ensure templates (all brands) are available and maintained for Zone Dealer DevelopmentPOSITION PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONSUniversity Degree or College diploma is required3-5 years of experience preferably within the automotive industry, legal administration or finance is preferred.Strong financial analysis ability is requiredMust have strong organizational and project management skillsWorking knowledge and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) is requiredMapping Software with software such as Map Point and Maptitude experience is requiredRELATIONSHIP RESPONSIBILITIESDevelops and maintains good working relationships and all members of the teamDevelops and maintains good working relationships within Honda North America as well as all other internal and external stakeholdersDevelop, establish and maintain good working relationship with Honda North America suppliers, partners, consultants, stakeholders and other network contactsEnjoys team-building approach of management and department – shares resultsENVIRONMENTAL FACTORSWorking ConditionsNormalPhysical EffortNormalMental StressNormalHonda Canada Inc. is committed to providing accommodation in its recruitment processes to applicants with disabilities, upon request.
