As the President and Chief Executive Officer, reporting to the Board of Directors, you lead a highly skilled and dedicated full-time staff of approximately 30 people, which supports the work of CCA and the Board, in steering the organization through strategic initiatives, ensuring continuous growth and impact. Central to your role is engaging and partnering with government, academic, scientific and other communities in the development of support strategies, policies, and programs that ensure the CCA can continue to compete and deliver excellence on a national and global stage. Ensuring the proper delegation of duties throughout the organization to foster a collaborative and effective team environment is imperative, as is the President and CEO’s ability to identify and implement necessary changes in the organization's direction to adapt to emerging challenges as they relate to CCA. As President and CEO, you are responsible for the development, preparation, and review of the corporate plan to ensure fiscal responsibility, while coordinating and implementing programs and services that align with the organization's mission and objectives. Serving as the chief spokesperson for the CCA, you will engage with policymakers, the media, and the public on pertinent issues related to CCA’s work. Cultivating and expanding CCA's base of support and funding with government, academic and scientific communities, the private sector, and other organizations is a critical function of the President and Chief Executive Officer.
