We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position as a Content Strategist, Marketing Partnerships in our Toronto office on a hybrid work arrangement.
What will you do?
Reporting to the Director, Marketing Partnerships, in our Toronto office, you will be responsible for leading the development of content for marketing partnership projects. Your responsibilities include drafting original content for marketing partnerships initiatives, including writing and editing blogs/articles, social media, landing pages, website pages, video scripts, advertising, and promotional materials.
You will also coordinate between departments –editing content from other teams to ensure it reflects needs from a marketing partnership perspective and looking for opportunities to use content effectively across the organization.
Responsibilities:
+ Strategize and map out the content needs for each marketing partnership project, including member engagement and lead generation
+ Draft content for each project to come to life, including member email, digital advertising, social posts, blogs/articles, landing pages, video scripts, promotional materials, etc.
+ Work with internal stakeholders and sponsors to edit and finalize content
+ Oversee content calendar and ensure timely updates for projects
+ Drive the creative vision and visual components for marketing partnership initiatives to ensure each content piece is elevated with a compelling and consistent visual representation
+ Bring forward new ideas for how to position content to maximize reach and impact
+ Coordinate between departments to gather content from other content creators that are relevant to the marketing partnership projects
+ Draft internal content to galvanize projects and ensure content is used effectively across the organization
What makes a successful Content Strategist, Marketing Partnerships?
+ Post-secondary degree ideally with focus on marketing, copywriting, and/or design
+ 2-5 years of practical experience in marketing and/or content strategy and development, including copywriting. Design or creative experience is an asset
+ Strong technical aptitude to work in PC environment and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Proven excellence in copy writing and editing
+ Strong project and time management skills to deliver on multiple projects and timelines
+ A team player who can work collaboratively with broader divisions within CFIB
+ Demonstrated ability to steer projects to ensure they meet business needs
+ Work with a high degree of integrity, quality, and accuracy
+ Experience in design or using design tools (e.g.
, Canva) is an asset
+ Ability to communicate in French would be an asset but is not required.

*Successful new hires will receive $500 after 2 weeks of employment, $1500 upon completing 3 months and $1000 after 6 months of continued employment with CFIB.
