Salary: At Wawanesa, salary is only one component of a holistic, comprehensive and competitive offering that we provide to our employees. The salary offered for this role is determined with consideration to various factors, including but not limited to: your work location, local labour market conditions, external market salary data, internal pay equity and the knowledge, skills, experience and anticipated proficiency in the role. The salary offered is estimated to be within the following range: $65,000- $85,000. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are still encouraged to apply.

Job Overview
The Compliance Specialist is a key player in Wawanesa's compliance regime. Working under direct supervision, this role contributes to Wawanesa's success by reviewing applicable laws, regulations and best practices and provides advice and guidance to Wawanesa's businesses. The Compliance Specialist also assists in the development and assessment of compliance program processes, procedures and tools to further enhance and refine Wawanesa's compliance program, to achieve enterprise-wide objectives. This role will be required to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders across Canada where the main business language for this role is English.
