What you’ll be doing:Reporting to the VP, Communications and Engagement, the Communications and Engagement Manager will support various projects and initiatives for key client files, as well as other agency projects. Responsibilities include: Develop and implement multi-channel strategic communication plans and strategies for client programs and projectsWork with other team members to support the development of high-quality communications materials that may include videos, presentations, print and digital materials, and websites Write and edit a variety of communications materials such as blog posts, information brochures, Q&A documents, key message documents, backgrounders, and other supporting collateral Support internal and external meetings by coordinating meeting invites, taking meeting minutes and producing meeting reports, including using data entry software to track stakeholder interactions Meet with clients, partners and stakeholders in-person when required and support the facilitation of group meetings Perform research and information gathering to inform communications and engagement programs and materials, including the development of stakeholder lists Coordinate photo or video shoots on-site as required Support the planning logistics for media events, meetings, ground-breaking ceremonies, hospitality events, and other events Work with various business leaders, subject matter experts, and senior executives as required Support senior management on issues management and crisis communicationsPerform media monitoring, and contribute to issues management solutionsMay be required to attend meetings and events outside of regular work hours on occasionWhat you bring to the role:Completed a university or college-level program in a communications-related discipline (ie: business, marketing, communications, or journalism)5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, engagement and/or related roles Demonstrated experience executing stakeholder engagement and/or Indigenous engagement, ideally for infrastructure projectsComfortable working with diverse project teams comprised of technical experts and our communication and engagement peersProven experience conducting research, writing and communicating ideas and information for technical and non-technical audiencesStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and evaluate competing prioritiesStrong written and oral communication Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen to and understand various perspectives Excellent research skills and analytical abilities Detail-oriented Bonus points for understanding graphic design, video and photography principals Double bonus points for being International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) certified or understanding IAP2 principlesAbility and willingness to switch from delivering strategic communication advice to rolling up their sleeves to support with administrative-level tasksBenefits of Working for SitePartners:Salary range: $75,000-$85,000Extended health benefits packageFlexible remote work schedule (2-3 days in office a week)Office coffee, snacks and refreshments providedCompany laptop (apple)Dogs in the office – Woof!Let’s get to work!If this posting gets you excited, we want to hear from you.
