Everything else is subservient to that goal.Efficient setup, prove-out and operation of production & prototype partsProgramming parts using CAM & conversational controlsSetting up processes for success in unattended machiningProviding feedback to engineers regarding design manufacturabilityInspection, measurement & quality control of all manufactured componentsCleaning & shipping componentsMaintaining tooling & materialBasic machine maintenance & upkeep Ensuring that we are continuously improving everything we doWhat the workplace is like:We are working to build THE best products in the world. However, some tasks are very challenging and some days are hard.By the time you start, we'll be in a brand new building - clean, well lit and air-conditioned to ensure both machining precision & staff comfort.Overtime hours are not typically required on average - we operate on averaging agreements for 80hrs per 2 week pay period. Work longer hours one day, shorter hours another. We don’t require you to work on weekends or stat holidays.Once you’re sufficiently autonomous, hours are reasonably flexible. Some days things go sideways and we need to stay longer to ensure a part can run overnight, but wherever possible, and within the limits of their capability to be autonomous at any given time, we aim to offer employees flexibility. Work with us and we'll work with you - our primary focus is ensuring that we are efficiently producing & delivering consistently high quality parts, not simply ensuring that you’re in the building between arbitrarily determined hours. For example, if you need to look after your kids from 3pm to 7pm, we can accommodate an early start time or even a split workday. We do not beat around the bush with corporate buzzwords and meaningless jargon. Employees can use these as paid days off for any other reason too. After 6 months:Opportunity for profit sharing, pro rata - 20% of company net profit distributed between the employees annually.
