SUMMARY OFRESPONSIBILITIES:
The HUBChief Marketing Officer (CMO), Specialty Practicesis responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to deepen HUB’s relationship with Specialty markets in order to help maximizethe organic growth of the Specialty practices and company overall.This growth will be achieved by ensuring that Specialty markets solutions are contemplated on all relevant new and renewal opportunities and by creating improved compensation and incentive plans with the Specialty marketplace.
SPECIFICRESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and manage relationships with the leadership of key specialty markets in the U.S., Canada, Bermuda and London.
Build and manage relationships with the leadership of key wholesalers in U.S., Canada, Bermuda and London.
Build and manage relationships with leadership of SPG businesses.
Understand risk appetite, business models and go to market strategies of Specialty markets and orchestrate the communication of those strategies and appetites across HUB.
Connect Specialty markets to HUB Specialty industry and product practices and CMO network so that Specialty market solutions are available to all HUB clients as appropriate.
Maximizes revenue opportunities by establishing effective carrier commission agreements and relationships across industry and product specialties.
Negotiate and managecontingentcommission agreements with Specialty markets and work with Specialties and Regions on execution.
Work with HUB Industry Specialty CMOs on product and industry-specific needs, including carrier relationships, product development, etc.
Utilize your carrier leadership relationships to know about, evaluate, and react to their new product development, underwriting strategies, and organizational changes.
Supportsregional C ritical Pathand Deal Deskprocesses in collaboration with their other HUBleaders.
Align with HUB’s client placement strategies utilizing SPG and other HUB ownedentities.
Identifies new product opportunities offered by carriers for further businessdevelopment.
Monitors carrier performance.
Contributes to M&A due diligence to qualify prospective agency qualifications and revenue upliftopportunities.
Collaborates on acquisition integration strategy to create favorable commission arrangements with keymarkets.
Support and collaborate withSVP of Carrier Strategies andCMO network.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required, though commensurate experience would be considered.
At least 10 years of experience in the insurance industry property and casualty in a senior production or leadership role.
High degree of business acumen isrequired.
Significant industry knowledgerequired.
Must be knowledgeable of industry standards and regulations and maintain all required industrylicenses.
Keeps commitments, keeps others informed of work progress, timetables, andissues.
Addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical businesssolutions.
Works effectively as a leader with all levels of theorganization.
Must be proficient in Microsoft office tools, including Excel andPowerPoint.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
