If you are a techie who has an interest in the bigger picture, including security and incident response for a leading embedded operating system, the Security Operations team is seeking a Systems Software Developer:
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
• Maintain open-source (OSS) components that are part of QNX commercial products
• Assist in the automation of OSS intake and validation
• Assist in the automation and tooling needed for SBOM generation
• Port new open-source projects to QNX Neutrino
• Work across multiple development teams to assist in the maintenance of open source
• Contribute bug fixes to upstream open-source communities
• Understand and communicate vulnerabilities disclosed in open-source components
**Essential Experience:**
• Recent graduate with BSc / MSc degree (Computer Science, Computer/Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical degree).
• C/C++ and python development experience
• Experience contributing to open-source communities
**Preferred Experience:**
• Experience with developer tools like Subversion, Git, GitHub, Jenkins and Jira
• Experience with scripting and automation
• Experience working with QNX, BSD or Linux
