About the Opportunity
On behalf of a small but meaningful national association, we are conducting a search for an Administrative Assistant to support the Ottawa office. If you like working with a small team, in a position that offers a wide variety of duties, this role could be for you. Duties include but are not limited to: Act as the first point of contact for all incoming guests to the association; managing mail and couriers Support the Executive Director and Office Manager as needed in the preparation of documents; spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, travel and accommodation and expense management Contribute to the membership process including preparing information packages, general correspondence and membership renewals Assist with meeting scheduling, preparation and Board room set up Manage electronic and hard copy filing, including archiving and storage About You
The successful candidate will have the following: Post-secondary education in Office or Executive Administration or equivalent experience A minimum of 3-5 years of administration experience, with preference for work in a member-driven organization Excellent proficiency in the MSOffice suite of software Fluency in both official languages (English/French) Experience working in a member database would be considered an asset About the Job
This role is a full time, permanent position offering a salary of $50,000-$60,000 with a comprehensive benefits package. Our client is centrally located in Kanata with free parking. This role is a 100% in-office position.
