Bellperson (Part time) Job in Pickering Recruiting by CB Canada

Pickering Casino Resort is seeking Part-time Bell Persons!

Under the general direction of the Front Office Manager, the Bellperson is responsible for providing efficient and courteous service to each guest and operate according to the policies, procedures, quality standards and services established by the management team for the satisfaction of internal and external guests.

The ideal candidate is an energetic professional with proven knowledge, skills and abilities, executing the following support of the company’s vision, mission and values:

• Welcome and greet guests at the entrance of the hotel (ensure effective arrival and departure procedures are followed for individual and group/tour activity)
• Addressing telephone and in-person inquiries for service requests
• Responsible for providing a seamless and exceptional guest arrival and departure experience by providing with luggage assistance
• Answer any guest questions or direct them to someone that can assist them. Ensure complete guest satisfaction
• Follow shift checklists to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner
• Assist with cleaning duties in order to maintain a clean and well-ordered work area in line with hotel policy
• Achieve guest satisfaction by responding to and anticipating guests needs ensuring all comments and complains are acted upon in accordance with hotel and Company policy
• All necessary additional duties as assigned.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year experience in full-service hotel, preferred
• Basic computer skills:  Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet
• Knowledge of area and surrounding attractions
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Pickering Casino Resort candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights. The hours of work will be based on operational needs. Ready to embark on your next adventure?
