Such engagements encompass:
Strategy formulation and implementation planning;
Organizational assessments/design/transformation;
Program assessment & evaluation;
Restructuring and change management; and / or
Project execution – from conception through to implementation and closeout.You will provide internal operational support to ensure day-to-day delivery is properly managed and contribute to Optimus SBR’s proven track record and continued growth, while building relationships through engagements and networking. You will also be involved with business development, and providing support to develop proposals.You have extensive experience in the public & health care sector and an understanding of strategy development and execution, process analysis and redesign, and business case development.You have the ability to adapt to changing needs and environments while working independently and with the Optimus SBR team.Responsibilities
Contribute to the life and culture of Optimus SBR
Ability to execute end-to-end solutions to clients’ needs and requirements
Complete assigned work related to project deliverables on time and manage project budget
Review current state challenges and propose future-state solutions with respect to people, process, policy, and technology enhancements
Contribute to the development of proposals and provide other sales support, including identifying and assisting in selling extensions to clients and relationship business
Manage client relations as a trusted advisor while achieving the highest levels of client satisfaction
Develop and maintain an active external presence in the industry
Create innovative solutions to office or work-related problems
Contribute to company brand presence
Support internal projects, when neededQualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years relevant working experience
Experience as an external consultant in the Public Sector, Health Care, or Not-for-Profit/Public Sector is an asset
Self-directed, with the passion and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Innovative and dynamic; brings an entrepreneurial spirit to our business
Results-oriented individual with the ability to meet aggressive timelines
Strong business development acumen and execution
Strong work ethic and someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to developing their career
Comfortable engaging in strategic discussions with stakeholders at the C-level executive and Board level
Thorough understanding of public policy and government/health care operations
Strong analytical background
Additional expertise/experience including change management, facilitation, strategy development and execution, process analysis and redesign, data analysis, and business case development considered an asset
Excellent project management skills
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsRequired Education:Related university degree in a business, health care, or public policy related field
Preferred Education:Post-Graduate degree (e.g., , MBA, MPA or MPP), PMP, CPA, or additional professional (e.g., CPA, P.Eng., or R.N) or other designation (e.g., CPA, PMP, Lean, or PROSCI) strongly preferred
