Overview:
Our client Endoscopy Center, a focused Ambulatory Surgery Center in New York, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time, Anesthesiologist to join their team! The center provides over 600 gastroenterologist partners industry-leading practice and center management solutions across the nation. This includes a comprehensive business approach to compliance, operations, corporate services and clinical support. Position hours will be Monday – Friday with first cases starting at 7:00am and the last case starting around 3:30pm.
What you will be doing:
As an Anesthesiologist at this Endoscopy Center, you will be responsible for anesthesia care, documentation, and transferring patient to and from procedure room (RNs provide IV).
You will report directly to our Anesthesia Director, and have the support of our certified technicians in the procedure rooms.

18 GI Physicians
Average of 16 Cases Per Day
Types of Cases: Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Flex Sigmoidoscopy
Reports to: Anesthesia Director
Number of endoscopy suites: 4
Number of GI doctors on staff: 11 on staff
Number of Anesthesiologists on staff: 13 (2 are FTEs - the other 11 are per diem) – This opening would be the 3rd FTE.
Board Certified or Board Eligibility status: Must be Board Certified
Exact hours, any evenings or weekends expected: M-F First cases start 7:00am last case start avg. 2:30p
Open to every other Saturday - compensation $2000 day rate w. OT ($250/hr paid in 15-minute increments for hours past 3:00p on weekday or weekends)
Compensation:
PTO: 5 weeks
Offer Letter/Term sheet: Provided with offer.
Contingencies: Start date is contingent on the payor enrollment being completed by PE’s credentialling team and the center Administrator (NO OUT OF STATE – the credentialling process takes too long and no relocation is being offered unless they are moving to the area on their own with no financial support from US and can align with our timeline to start.)
Malpractice: Covered 100% by Center (Anesthesiologist secures and maintains the policy, submit invoice and center will pay invoice quarterly)

What you must have:
A successful applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be Board Certified
Local to the EC group in the NY Market preferred but relocation will be considered.
Mandatory participation in the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Vaccination program is required for all Center Health Care Personnel (HCP). Medical and religious accommodations will be reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis.
Salary/Rate Range: $420,000 - $435,000
