YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR:
* Manage financial accounting duties including script entry, net settlement processing, assisting with fuel price management, and AP processing.
* Process fuel inventory reconciliations and chemical inventory management.
* Process bank deposits, enter purchasing data, and prepare, send, and store invoices.
* Contact clients for payment reminders; ensure timely payment.
* Identify and address discrepancies, report AP/AR status, and update internal accounting databases (InfoSys) and spreadsheets.
* Track fuel card management.
* Handle credit applications.
* Manage general office administration duties including handling phone inquiries and general information requests, greeting clients and visitors, preparing reports and memos, purchase and receive office supplies, and other secretarial and administrating support as needed.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN AN ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR:
* 4–5+ years experience in accounting and bookkeeping
* Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, or business administration is preferred
* Self-motivated and assertive with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
* Strong computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office suites; can pick up new software easily
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with transparency and confidence
* Broad knowledge of accounting software; familiarity with InfoSys is an asset
* Solid organizational and scheduling skills; adept at basic administrative duties
